DIGITAL PRINTING

Digital printing is defined by sending an image directly to the printer via digital files which is an alternative to traditional printing methods such as offset printing and letterpress. However, digital printing cannot achive a metallic or shimmery look flat print inks and the choice of papers are more restrictive and only a soft and smooth papers can be used. For the colour accuracy, traditional printing methods can achieve accurate colour reproduction but digital printing may have slight colour difference due to different ink technologies and processes.
