Q4. How many invitations will I need?
It will depend on the number of guests you plan to invite. As some guests are couples or entire families, thus not every guest would need a separate invitation. The general rule is to order 80% of the number of invited guests. For example, if you are going to have 300 guests, you should at least order 240 invitations and add 10% to your total for last minute guests and keepsakes. Based on our experience, we have some formulas to assist our customers in calculating invitation orders:
a) If more relatives are invited, the order can be calculated as: number of tables x number of guests (10's or 12's) x 70% x 1.1.
b) If more friends are invited, the order can be calculated as: number of tables x number of guests (10's or 12's) x 80% x 1.1.
c) If relatives and friends are half-half in ratio, the order can be calculated as: number of tables x number of guests (10's or 12's) x 75% x 1.1.
